Weakley County R.A.C.E.S.
(Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Services)
In cooperation with the Weakley County Emergency Management
Agency, a R.A.C.E.S. group is being organized in Weakley County. The Weakley
County R.A.C.E.S. Liaison will be Alan McClain - KA4BNI. A RACES application will
be posted on this web page soon. Occasional training will be required for
members as they will be receiving certifications in the FEMA IS categories
(IS-100, 200, 700, and 800), as well as EmComm training. The mission of the
Weakley County RACES group will be to provide communications assistance to
Weakley County EMA and Weakley County 911 during emergencies and disasters. More
information will be posted as it becomes available.
